How it Began
IMAS Analytics AI was established in 2011 as a joint venture between IMAS Group AS and IMAS Asia Ltd. IMAS Group AS is the leading people-counting solutions provider in Norway, Sweden, Denmark, and Germany. With more than 30 years of experience in Europe, the Group has successfully installed over 30,000 sensors and continues to set benchmarks in accurate, reliable footfall analytics.

Under the aegis of IMAS Group, IMAS Analytics AI began its journey in Southeast Asia, marking its early presence in Thailand. Since then, it has partnered with leading organizations across the region and achieved remarkable milestones.


In June 2023 Sayam Tiewttranon, Staffan Liljestrand, Rupert Paris and Peter Nicolaus met in Bangkok Thailand to formalize the strategic alliance between TKC, Bumblebee Labs, Xovis and IMAS Thailand to support the both the public sector and private sector in Thailand introducing the latest Artificial Intelligence technology.​​
IMAS Thailand
IMAS (Thailand) Ltd Co initial focus was the retail business and served companies such as Seacon Square, Terminal 21, MBK, Index Living, SCG, Fashion Island, the Promenade, Gateway Bang Sue and Maya Mall. It later added customers such as BOYY and Jim Thompson.​

Towards the end of 2021 Xovis AG, TKC, IMAS Thailand signed a contract with Airports of Thailand to install the Xovis Passenger Tracking System at Suvarna Bhumi Airport and Don Mueang International Airport in Bangkok and Phuket International Airport in Phuket. Since then, millions of passengers have enhanced their passenger experience travelling at these airports.
